Camden Socialist Party: Gains for the Left in Southern Ireland

Socialist Party member Neil Cafferky was in Ireland helping our sister party (Socialist Party -Ireland) during the successful recent general election campaign and will be reporting back.
The Socialist Party won two TDs (MPs) which was a brilliant achievement - and has been central in establishing the United Left Alliance which won a total of 5 MPs, unseating several government ministers in the process.
Neil will speak about the mood for a fightback in Ireland, the importance of working class representation and the plans for upcoming assembly elections in Northern Ireland
