Kazakhstan workers' leaders under threat of imprisonment
The leaders of Kazakhstan's independent workers' union, 'Zhanartu' (Renaissance) - Esenbek Ukteshbaev, president, and deputy chair, Ainur Kurmanov - have issued a statement to warn that they may soon be subjected to arrest or abduction in Russia to forcibly remove them to Kazakhstan, where inevitable arrest and imprisonment await.
