Public meetings against cuts in the rail industry

Rail unions and trades councils are holding public meetings and a day of action at the end of May opposing the government’s proposed cuts to jobs and services in the rail industry.

There will be 13 joint meetings with trades councils held on Thursdays 24 and 31 May. The meetings will be addressed by speakers from the rail unions, trades councils and local MPs.

On Monday 28 May there will be a joint TUC/Rail union day of action with postcards distributed to passengers at key railway stations.
