Salford TUSC to unveil billboard

“Our hoarding against their hoarding!”

From a Salford TUSC press release

Salford TUSC candidates are holding a campaign action to unveil their Salford election campaign billboard in Walkden on Monday 27th April at 5pm.

Using the slogan “On 7th May vote against cuts, vote for decent jobs and services” the billboard will be displayed for 11 days and marks a massive ramping-up of TUSC’s electoral challenge locally, standing in all 20 council seats and two parliamentary seats. 100,000 TUSC leaflets are being issued across the city.

Steve North, Worsley & Eccles South TUSC candidate, in whose constituency the billboard is being displayed, said:

“Our hoarding highlights the issues we believe matter to the people of Salford and are going unaddressed by the main parties and UKIP, who are more interested in helping the bankers and super-rich stash away yet more ill-gotten gains. While working-class people are struggling, those at the top are hoarding billions of pounds in tax havens and speculation. We say that money should be taxed and used to rebuild public services, create real jobs and raise wages. It’s our hoarding against their hoarding!”
