Support for TUSC from Bob Crow’s cousin

From a Socialist Party press release

On May Day, international workers’ day, TUSC candidates and supporters participated in events across the country. Last year London’s May Day was a celebration of the life and record of the late Bob Crow, former leader of the RMT rail workers’ union. Bob was a co-founder of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) and a major figure in the fight against austerity.

TUSC candidates received the following from Bob’s cousin David Wallis:

“Bob Crow would be proud to know that you are all fighting for a democratic socialist society run in the interests of working class people. In his words, if we don’t fight we will lose every time, but if we fight we might not lose.

“To all the TUSC candidates, I would just like to wish you all good luck in your campaigns … I have had lots of conversations in my London taxi discussing TUSC and it’s been very reassuring that people have listened and taken away what we stand for. I hope that I have been able to turn some heads.”
