Shelter staff ballot for action
Shelter staff are now balloting for industrial action in protest at the imposition of new contracts on worse terms and conditions. Management gave a deadline of 31 January to staff to sign the new contracts and are calling those who did not sign to formal interviews.
The ballot closes on 21 February but messages of support are still important to the workers fighting this attack on Shelter's staff and the way the whole organisation operates.
Please send messages to: shelterstewards@googlemail.com and c/o Alan Scott, TGWU, Woodberry, 218 Green Lanes, London N4 2HB.
