Blair: Not Wanted

TONY BLAIR is now the longest-serving Labour prime minister in history. Well, he's outstayed his welcome.

Along with George Bush, he lied about weapons of mass destruction in order to wage war on Iraq. He's destroying public services through privatisation and market-oriented 'reforms'.

The gap between rich and poor is widening, low pay is widespread and we're expected to work beyond retirement age for a lousy pension. Little wonder then that only 31% of people say they trust him and just 32% approve of his handling of the situation in Iraq.

We say it's time for Blair to go. And it's time to join the campaign for a new working-class party that will provide an alternative to the big-business policies of New Labour and the other establishment parties; a party that will stand up and fight for the rights of ordinary people.
