Trump's announcement to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel resulted in protests round the world and heightened tensions in Israel/Palestine. Is there any way out of the seemingly endless cycle of violence for ordinary people, Palestinian and Israeli? In such an atmosphere, how can socialist ideas gain support?
