London: TUC lobby & rally; and London march

"Britain still needs a Pay Rise"

Tuesday 17 October 2017

  • A TUC national lobby of parliament will be followed by a floodlit rally in Parliament Square, starting at 6.30pm.
  • Also, over 15 London regional trade unions are holding a march and rally through Westminster. The march will form at 17.30 in Whitehall, opposite Downing Street, to hear from initial speakers from some of the supporting trade unions, including those already taking or preparing for action such as PCS civil servants, BFAWU members at McDonalds and CWU postal workers, before moving off at 18.00 to march to Parliament Square.
