Solidarity with Pakistan workers

Socialists, trade unionists and workers packed into an NUJ meeting in Manchester to discuss press freedom, trade union rights and civil liberties in Pakistan.

A message of solidarity from the Trade Union Rights Campaign - Pakistan (TURC-P) explained the anti-worker and anti-union nature of the regime and welcomed this debate.

Mansoor Hassan, Javed Khan and Amjad Malik, all spoke.

The TURC-P leaflets were welcomed by everyone.
