May Day greetings

May Day greetings help show support for socialist ideas by different groups fighting back against cuts and privatisation, while raising money to fund the socialist alternative to the big business press. Socialist Party branches should be planning who to approach for May Day greetings to be printed in the socialist this year.

Ask your local trade union branches, anti-cuts campaigns, Socialist Student and ISR groups, and make sure your Socialist Party branch gets in a greeting this year too. For 2007 we are aiming to have over 100 May Day greetings, and to help make sure this happens, start raising money now by using pledge sheets recently sent out.

If you need more pledge sheets, or ideas on who to approach, contact circulation@socialistparty.org.uk or phone 020 8988 8796.
