Upbeat London rally

OVER 80 striking Ministry Of Defence and passport office workers joined other PCS members for a very upbeat London rally.

For MOD workers this was the biggest ever strike, with 85% of members taking action. A PCS official reported that in one training camp, soldiers were wearing PCS vests in solidarity!

PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka spoke of the need to put more pressure on the government to get them to the negotiating table through legal, political and industrial action.

Mark also raised the need for public-sector unions to take action together, which is why he’ll be speaking at the NUT conference at Easter.
