This week saw another successful Socialist Party stall on Lincoln High Street, campaigning to defend public services and against the far-right.
Once again, people were queuing up to sign our petition and give us their support. It is impossible to keep track of the amount of people who tell us that they are pleased to see us out and taking a stand.
One man pledged his support for us, saying he had tried the main parties and wanted to vote for someone who provided an alternative. Another was so impressed with his discussion with a new party member that he gave her a £10 donation to the campaign!
With four ‘join’ cards filled in, 20 copies of the socialist sold and £30 fighting fund raised in just two hours, this really shows why we need to stand in elections and provide the alternative that so many people are looking for.
