National Shop Stewards Network conference: International rally planned
Next month's conference of the National Shop Stewards Network (NSSN) comes at a vital time for the trade union movement. And the conference will now include an international solidarity rally, as part of the Week of Solidarity initiative by left MEPs (see also page 3).
There will be speakers from Spain, Ireland and Greece who have all been involved in organising action against the bosses' attacks.
Speakers in the main conference, in a personal capacity, will include Janice Godrich, president of the PCS, Matt Wrack, general secretary of the FBU and Steve Hedley, London RMT regional secretary.
There will be ten workshops on many issues, including fighting the cuts, organising against racism and fascism, building the trade unions amongst young people, and climate change.
Make sure you book a place at this important meeting.
To register send £5 to NSSN, PO Box 58262, London N1P 1ET, with your details, including workplace and trade union.
Encourage your trade union branch or workplace to sponsor the conference - suggested minimum £20.
