An anti-Private Finance Initiative (PFI) battle bus recently toured east London highlighting how PFI priviatisation is wrecking services provided by the local Barts NHS Trust, the largest NHS trust in England. Barts was placed into special measures in March with staff shortages cited as a major reason. The Trust, due to PFI debt, is £93 million in deficit.
