Manchester: national Tories Out demo

While the Tory Party of millionaires will be starting its conference in Manchester, tens of thousands of people will be protesting through the streets to say the Tories' austerity programme has no mandate.

Sunday 1st October 2017, 12:00-17:00

Assemble at Castlefield Arena, Rice Street, Manchester, M3 4JR

Young Socialists in Manchester says: Young people are some of the biggest losers under this government. We are fighting to support Corbyn's manifesto of free education, an end to zero hour contracts and a 10 an hour minimum wage. We are standing up and uniting against racism, sexism, homophobia and any other attempt to divide the working class. We are fighting for socialist policies and for a world based on human need, not on billionaire greed. This is the message we will be taking to the Tories Out protest - Join our 'red bloc' Young Socialists contingent on the demo!
