CWI website marking 1917 Russian Revolution

The Committee for a Workers’ International (CWI) has launched a website dedicated to commemorating and celebrating the 1917 Russian Revolution.

The site contains CWI archive material on the Russian Revolution, as well as some writings by Lenin, Trotsky and other leading Marxists from the period and also eyewitness accounts.

Over the course of 2017 the website will add:

  • Monthly articles on the developments of the corresponding month in 1917 and their implications.
  • Thematic articles – on women, the national question, art, youth, etc.
  • Articles on the impact of the revolution in different countries and regions.
  • Events to mark the anniversary will be publicised
