In October 1917, the Bolshevik Party led Russia to revolution and began to establish workers' democracy. Today, world events are becoming increasingly volatile and unpredictable. Standards of living for the majority are falling, while the super-rich accumulate obscene levels of wealth. Does all this mean the system is, once again, ripe for change? We will be talking about the successes and failures of the revolution and how we can use the lessons of it to build a new society in the 21st century.
