Coventry protest against austerity

Around 150 people braved the freezing cold to march through Coventry city centre on Saturday morning in protest against £61 million of cuts that will be voted on by councillors.

The cuts will have an enormous impact on the city – around 800 jobs at the council on top of the 800 already gone, are expected to go. Services will be decimated.
