Mass Student Protest Against Cuts at Sussex University!

Over 400 students are protesting outside Bramber House at Sussex University today against hundreds of jobs losses at the university.

This action sums up protests of a few hundred over the past few weeks.

Students and staff are picketing a meeting of the university's senate in opposition to the attacks.

The UCU (University and Colleges Union) will recommend no confidence in the university's plans for cuts.

Students are staging a rally outside with speakers from the campus trade unions and organisations like Youth Fight for Jobs.
