On
Sunday 29 June 2008, 300 people filled the main hall in South
Camden Community School in London to round off a very important
weekend for the labour movement in Britain and to address the
central question facing workers in Britain today: How can we fight
for a working class political voice?
This third conference of the
Campaign for a New Workers' Party (CNWP)
had the opportunity to assess the stage the campaign is now at,
and to debate a number of resolutions that
were
put forward.

Whipps Cross Save our NHS campaign
This 15 minute Socialist Party video follows the campaign of
Waltham Forest Save Our NHS, working with the Unison branch's
successful demonstrations and strike against the private vultures.
The video also gives a glimpse of the national campaign to defeat the
cuts and closures which is rising throughout the country.

Germany) and WASG (the new Left party) national committee member,
spoke at the Socialism 2006 rally. A video of Lucy on the
German equivalent of "Newsnight" showed the anguish of the leading
German politicians as Lucy laid into them.
