Pro-choice London protest

Socialist Party members joined other pro-choice protesters in central London on 30 March as a show of strength against a reactionary ‘prayer vigil’ stunt taking place outside a British Pregnancy Advisory Service (Bpas) abortion clinic.

Several hundred people joined the vibrant protest at points throughout the evening, many staying until all of the 200 anti-abortionists had gone. The protest received enthusiastic support from passers-by, including hundreds of cyclists on a critical mass event.

We have to continue to stand against intimidation by misnamed ‘pro-lifers’ and for all women to have the choice over when and whether they have children.
