Socialist Party Scotland discusses the 1980s’ Liverpool battle

Over 50 people packed into a Socialist Party Scotland public meeting on Wednesday night on “Liverpool 1983-1987 – when socialist councillors refused to make the cuts and why we need more of the same today”. Socialist Party Scotland predecessor, Militant, played a leading role in the Liverpool struggle. Half those attending were at their first Socialist Party meeting
