Huddersfield Socialist Party: The refugee crisis

Thursday 1st June 2017, 7.15pm

Irish Centre, Fitzwilliam Street, Huddersfield HD1 5BB

The Tories hypocritically talk about limiting immigration when it's their policies (and Blair's) which have driven people from the Middle East in their millions with their wars and bombing. Add to that the low wage economy they are creating and it's boom time for employers who can take on poorly paid refugees to prop up their zero hour businesses. Hear the socialist case for resolving the refugee crisis.
