Central London: Walk along the steps of Karl Marx

Sunday 24th September 2017

Meet at 1pm at the Eros statue near Piccadilly Circus tube station. Tours normally last about 2 hours. Tickets are £8; or two for £12 (paid in cash on the day).

The founder of Marxism, Karl Marx spent the majority of his life living in London. Pete Dickinson, socialist activist, author and academic, will take you on a tour around the places that were crucial to Marx's life and the radical scene in London in the 19th century. Highlights include Marx's former residences, the site where the First International was founded and the café where Marx and Engels discussed writing the Communist Manifesto.

Pete Dickinson is a member of the Tower Hamlets branch of the Socialist Party; proceeds of the tour will go to the Socialist Party's Fighting Fund.
