London demo: Protect the right to strike

Thursday 19th December 2019, 12.30pm

Parliament Square, opposite parliament

Boris Johnson's government is planning to introduce minimum service levels in the transport sector during industrial action - an attempt to ban transport workers from going on strike.
This will be part of the Queen's Speech in parliament on 19 December.
A demonstration outside parliament has been called for 12.30pm by the RMT transport union and the PCS.
The National Shop Stewards Network (NSSN) has moved its 1pm demonstration on the same issue to also be at 12.30pm, to maximise the turnout at that time.
