Help fund our bold socialist presence in the struggles to come
The Socialist Party has a target each quarter to make sure that we have the steady finances and resources needed to take our socialists ideas into the movements, protests and struggles that take place. Smashing the previous quarters' fighting fund target meant that we were ready with hundreds of placards, thousands of leaflets, dozens of collecting tins, and a handful of card readers - to participate in the massive protests against the Israeli state bombing.
Our colourful placards with the slogan 'Build a movement to end Israeli state terror', and our programme of building a united struggle of workers and youth in Israel and Palestine, stood out. We have unshakable confidence in our ideas, and in the working class to get rid of this rotten capitalist system that fuels war, terror and misery.
With the continued financial support of our members and supporters, we can have a big, bold presence in the movements, and be able to reach a broader layer of society with socialist ideas.
The current fighting fund quarter ends on 1 July and we are on 57% of our £25,000 target. If you are a member of the Socialist Party and want to help raise money for the party, contact your local branch organisers. If you are a supporter, you can donate by visiting

The coronavirus crisis has laid bare the class character of society in numerous ways. It is making clear to many that it is the working class that keeps society running, not the CEOs of major corporations.
The results of austerity have been graphically demonstrated as public services strain to cope with the crisis.
- The Socialist Party's material is more vital than ever, so we can continue to report from workers who are fighting for better health and safety measures, against layoffs, for adequate staffing levels, etc.
- We must be ready for the stormy events ahead and the need to arm workers' movements with a socialist programme - one which puts the health and needs of humanity before the profits of a few.
Inevitably, during the crisis we have not been able to sell the Socialist and raise funds in the ways we normally would.
We therefore urgently appeal to all our viewers to donate to our Fighting Fund.
