Over 400 students are protesting outside Bramber House at Sussex University today against hundreds of jobs losses at the university.
This action sums up protests of a few hundred over the past few weeks.
Students and staff are picketing a meeting of the university’s senate in opposition to the attacks.
The UCU (University and Colleges Union) will recommend no confidence in the university’s plans for cuts.
Students are staging a rally outside with speakers from the campus trade unions and organisations like Youth Fight for Jobs.
