Over a thousand socialists will come together on 10 and 11 November to debate and discuss ideas to change the world.

Socialism 2018 is an annual event in central London with 37 workshops and two major rallies.

Socialism 2018 organiser Sarah Sachs-Eldridge says:

“We’re very excited to welcome everyone again this year – there’s never been more need to discuss the ideas and tactics needed to give working class and young people a decent standard of living.

“The highlight will be the Saturday night rally where Kshama Sawant, socialist Seattle city councillor, will speak about the battle in that city to tax Amazon in order to fund affordable housing.

“But we’ve got something for everyone. The full schedule of workshops is out now. From Brexit to environmental crisis, from the fight against racism to the development of artificial intelligence, socialists have got the answers to the big questions of today.

“Our speakers are all at the forefront of the movement and will give informative and interesting introductions, but the weekend is made by all the attendees who participate in the discussions, are encouraged to ask questions and put their point of view.”

  • 10am – 12 noon Sunday
