TUSC bike and car cavalcade in Hackney

TUSC supporters toured miles of Hackney on Saturday in cars decorated with posters, accompanied by eight cyclists advertising TUSC with placards on their bikes and clothing.

The first car was topped with a loud-hailer, broadcasting that TUSC is against austerity and calling on people to vote TUSC on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the cyclists handed out hundreds of election leaflets to people on pavements, estates, in markets and in parks as the cavalcade wound its way through the borough, attracting lots of attention. Several people waiting in cars at traffic lights and a number of passing cyclists also took leaflets.
