Unite members at Eaton Ltd in Fareham, Hampshire, have voted to escalate their strike action. It is set to continue this week, with dates announced through to the middle of November.
Strikers report growing support for the action with more workers signing up to the union. The company is refusing to negotiate. Unite strikers are determined to reject a three-year deal.
Pay at Eaton is below the industry average and Unite members are fighting for a one-year deal that restores what was lost during the previous three-year deal during the sharp rise in inflation.
