Europe is convulsed by protests and strikes. Driving the movements is anger at the relentless rise in the cost of living, the grind of austerity, and the lack of a future on offer for young people while the bosses' politicians beat the drums of war.

Socialist Party members are helping Socialist Students to organise student walkouts in schools, colleges and unis, as part of the 20 November International Youth Strike, alongisde over 20 other youth and student organisations across Europe. Under the slogan "fight for our futures, not their wars" we draw inspiration from the massive movements in Germany, France and elsewhere. We are demanding decent jobs, an end to the climate catastrophe, free high-quality education, an end to racist division and a socialist future against the endless war, destruction and poverty capitalism offers. Tens of thousands of young people are set to walk out and protest across Europe on 20 November - and you can be a part of it!
