Abolition of EMA - Socialist Party's Linda Taaffe speaks on Radio two
Linda Taaffe, Socialist Party member and secretary of the National Shop Stewards Network, on the BBC 2 Jeremy Vine show 19 January 2011, said that the Education Maintenance Allowance should not be abolished.

The EMA costs around £560 million a year, but compared to the bonuses the bankers get: - "they could club their bonuses together and pay for EMA for ten to fifteen years...
"Goldman Sachs are awarding £10 billion in bonuses which could easily pay for the EMA."
