Doctors’ union BMA will strike again 14-17 June in its fight for a real pay rise.

The union said that if the government “doesn’t change its position, we will strike throughout the summer. We will call a minimum of three days of action every month for the duration of our mandate for industrial action.”

The BMA has said the government’s 5% offer is “not credible” as it doesn’t even match inflation this year, let alone years of pay erosion.
