Adam Powell-Davies, Socialist Students national organiser

Socialist Students is holding our national conference in Birmingham on Saturday 10 February. Already, 2024 has seen a continuation of the Israeli state’s brutal bombardment of Gaza.

The Ukraine war lumbers on into its third year. Everywhere the climate crisis threatens the very foundations of life itself.

And in Britain we’ve got the prospect of a general election, where the Tories are likely to be kicked out, but with absolutely no alternative being offered by Starmer’s Labour Party.

So if you’re a student or a young person, and you’re interested in fighting back against the capitalist system, and fighting for a socialist future, you should come to the Socialist Students conference in Birmingham.
