Thank you to everyone who has donated or pledged to the Socialist Party general election appeal. We have reached the minimum amount needed to stand 30-40 candidates. The donations we’ve received so far will help us produce leaflets, posters and more outlining the programme needed for working-class people.
However, raising more funds will enable us to present the biggest and boldest possible socialist alternative to the establishment parties. In addition to the £62,048 donations received, we have an extra £13,413 in pledges. The fantastic response to our election appeal demonstrates the enthusiasm for our stand.
Keir Starmer is proving time and again that he represents big business, not the working class. We need our voice in this election. Socialist Party members will be out on stalls, building support for socialist ideas. We will be holding public meetings across the country and participating in anti-war demonstrations and anti-cuts campaigns – join us and donate!
