Coventy bin workers, on strike over pay, rallied and lobbied the Labour council in support of victimised Unite union rep Pete Randle on 5 April. Pete, who is also a member of the Socialist Party, has been suspended by the council. These workers have been taking all-out strike action since 31 January over pay, against a Labour-run council determined to break the union.
