UNISON NEC elections
UNISON branches can nominate candidates for the National Executive (NEC) elections up to 16 February. The following Socialist Party members, who are already members of the NEC, are seeking nominations: Glenn Kelly is standing for the Local Government Male seat, any local government branch can nominate him. Roger Bannister and Jean Thorpe are standing for regional seats in the North West and East Midlands regions respectively. Raph Parkinson is standing for the Additional Male seat, and any branch can nominate him.
In addition, Len Hockey is standing for a health seat, and any health branch can nominate him. Dave Auger is standing for a regional seat in the West Midlands.
