Standing up for socialism

SOCIALIST PARTY members are standing in local council and Greater London Assembly elections on Thursday 1 May. They aim to put forward a clear socialist alternative to the mainstream parties - Tories, New Labour, LibDems - that base their policies on the needs of big business. Socialist candidates are standing in the wards or constituencies listed below.
