Unison witch-hunt

Five Unison branch officers from four branches are under attack from the Unison leadership. The attack began at Unison's conference in June when the branches sought to challenge why Unison conferences are constantly denied the right to discuss certain issues. They produced a leaflet, which was then subjected to an unsubstantiated and unjustified attack of alleged racism. The branches were not given the right to respond to these attacks and an investigation has been launched.

These attacks on democratic rights are part of a general offensive by the union leadership to hang onto power no matter what.
