Now help fund the fightback in 2026!
Isai Marijerla, Socialist Party Treasurer
Every quarter, the Socialist Party has a target to raise £25,000 for the fighting fund, which pays for the campaigning materials needed in our fight for socialism. We had a fantastic end to 2025, with quarter four raising £66,558. Thank you to all who contributed!
A large part of that was down to the marvellous financial appeal during our Socialism 2025 weekend. Of the £68,150.25 that was pledged, £65,123.25 has been paid in. £10,000 of it has been donated to the Committee for a Workers International, to build the international struggle for socialism. We also raised £14,272 in public activities and fundraising – primarily in small donations from workers and young people we meet campaigning. Every week, our members are out campaigning on local issues and putting forward the demands and programme needed to win.
2026 is going to see a continuation of struggle. Now, more than ever, socialist ideas provide an alternative to the rotten capitalist system that is fuelling war, poverty and environmental crisis.
One of the Socialist Party’s key demands is for the working class to have its own mass party – one which fights for decent jobs, council homes, and fully funded services. We will be campaigning for that in this May’s elections – fighting for candidates who pledge to resist further austerity, and reject the logic of the capitalist system which delivers endless austerity.
Help us raise the funds this quarter to carry out that fight!
