Isai Marijerla, Socialist Party treasurer
Every quarter, the Socialist Party has a target of raising £25,000 to help fund our campaign material. We raise this through street activity and donations from members and supporters.
Our Socialist Party branches up and down the country have been very busy this quarter – election campaigning putting forward a socialist alternative, youth activity against the ‘NEET’ (not in employment, education, or training) crisis, and on the cost of living.
At trade union conferences, Socialist Party members have been arguing that the unions should lead the fight against Reform and their divisive ideas. Socialist Party members have also taken part in debates or put forward motions for working-class political representation, arguing that we need a new mass workers’ party. The support for our ideas is reflected in the number of Socialist papers bought by union delegates, and the donations we received.
We now have £3,000 to raise in three weeks to reach our target. Can you help us to reach it?
Why not join in our public campaign activity near you, and/or you can make a donation today towards it?
