In a recent meeting of Unite’s London regional committee a representative of British Airlines Stewards and Stewardesses Association (BASSA) reported that progress had been made in talks with BA management but two sticking points remain.
One is the withdrawal of the staff travel discount and the other is the 40 BASSA members victimised by the company. Further meetings between the leaderships of BASSA and Unite are scheduled at the time of writing and if no progress can be made on these outstanding issues then further strikes could be called by the end of the week.
