Building for the protests

The big turnout from Swansea University to the last anti-fees demo in London shows the potential support for the CDF. We are building the campaign with the e-mail addresses and contact details from students who have already signed the petition against fees.

Some students have been questioning where the money for education will come from if fees aren't charged, so we are setting up a MySpace for Swansea Socialist Students, which will answer these questions and provide information on the CDF.

Cardiff Socialist Students are holding a day of action against fees on 7 February where we are planning to lobby the vice-chancellor, hand in the signed petitions and hold an angry protest on campus.

We plan to get students from Swansea, Cardiff and the University of Glamorgan to this event.
